GEELONG:

RACE 5 NUMBER 1 POETIC LADY

Poetic Lady is starting to build herself a very handy record over the shorter trips and this appears to be a very winnable race. She has shown a lot of early speed in her races, box 1 is a big help at Geelong over the short and I expect her to lead and win.

SHEPPARTON:

RACE 10 NUMBER 8 OUR WILBUR

Our Wilbur had no luck last week at this track from the same draw and should have won. He is a very promising young pup who with any kind of luck should return to the winners list. Very keen on him.

CRANBOURNE:

RACE 6 NUMBER 1 TAD RUSTY

Tad Rusty is a brilliant beginner who always gives a great site but the last 30m is the worry. From box 1 he won’t have to do as much work early as he has nothing to cross this time and last week he was only caught in the last few strides by a smart dog that got a clean run. Very good each way.
